Online Offerings

IPD provides access to online offerings designed for teachers, or teachers to be, to sharpen their skills, knowledge, or practices in very specific content areas.  These offerings, designed to be completed in a couple of hours a week, cover many important aspects of teaching such as assessment, classroom management, Common Core, and much more. Participants have the option of taking the course for free or paying for a certificate of completion.

Professional Development Credit Courses

Professional development credit courses encourage teacher leadership by providing opportunities for educators to teach their peers. The Professional Development Credit Council (PDCC) was approved by the College of Education in 1995 to encourage the development of these courses. Professional Development Credit Courses have been offered by teachers in area schools, district-level administrators and instructional leaders, CNM professional development staff, Leadership New Mexico staff, and KNME Teacherline personnel. Find out how to design professional development that educators can offer at district or school sites for graduate credit by sending an email to ipd@unm.edu or fill out an application form by CLICKING HERE.
